You might like to explore the Oxford University Press page we have saved to the site, and follow a link first to the list of "distinguished" commentators, and then to a comparison page where this edition and earlier editions are shown side by side. I have a problem where commentators use current sociological concepts to interpret the instructions of an unchangeable God's word.

The names they quote don't mean anything to me, which suggests that they are not, exactly, eminent scholars.

In the link to the Metropolitan community Churches (the international homosexual church) one does note reference to John Shelby Spong - the renegade US Episcopalian (Anglican) Bishop.
