Eagles are members of the "raptor" class of birds of prey
Kestrel is the name of this computer on our Local Area Network; each different computer is named after a different species
of "raptor", for example, wedgetail, goldeneagle,
peregrine (actually a falcon), osprey...
I greatly appreciate the help given to me by Larry who used to host the www.eagles-lair.org web site for me. You can find him at http://www.lerctr.org/~ler. As with Larry's own site, this one is also perpeptually under construction.
I also appreciate the help from a fellow Christian and IT person, Steve Ewers, who while having a young family, went back to full-time studies from being a hands-on tech, and gained a postgraduate degree in IT.
Steve currently manages the networking facilities at Townsend House in Adelaide - an institution for disabled children.
And thanks also for the encouragement of several close on-line friends, including Mal`ak and Chalcedony, both of undernet.org Christian chat rooms. The spiral bound hammer-tone silver-grey background image was "stolen" from one of Mal`ak's websites almost ten years ago :)

Most of the directories are just that, storage directories.
Navigate to my relocated "endtimes" website (which I'm hosting, not sure for how long) since my domain name of "eagles-lair.org" was cancelled as a result of a stuff-up over renewal of the name. In due time I'll make a decision on what to do about the material I've written and collected over the years; please have patience if you have missed going there.

My autobiography which I'm slowly working on is now here.
